Turn Your Head Away
You don’t see them, it’s hard to believe. How can you not see a man that’s sleeping on the street. You never felt like it’s inhumane, telling those who’re out of luck that they have had their chance. You’ve had your chance. Don’t look away, don’t make up an excuse. It may hurt to see the truth, but this is where it’s at. Can’t walk away from the ones we left behind. Ignore that painful sight again and turn your head away. This is how we deal with those who fall. Society just doesn’t care at all. You’d better be aware of every step you take. The world that made you can also break, they will break you down.

Trade In Starvation
Speculation killed the effort of hard work. Now we pay the price for things that never were. Middle man get’s fat, he digs the hole that then becomes the grave of those who sow. It’s a dirty world based on economy. When the bubbles burst it hits you and me. It hits you and me. They use my pension plan to speculate and trade. The money that I save feeds the cause I hate. It’s a cold hard world for those who don’t know greed, they reap what you sow and take more than they need. Money, power, greed. I think there’s a point where we have to stop our non-violent act, because one day we will drop the bomb on those who reap what other people sow.

Bad Habits, Good Memories
Open up my eyes, take a look around and find myself doing what I like. Listen to the songs in my head and I realize they all agree with me tonight. Bad habits will become the best memories the ones I will never forget. Take a look over the edge, put myself to the test, face the demons in my head. Wear the gloves or tie the rope, raise the glass to fun and hope tomorrow won’t be bad. Watch me kicking back with a smile that’s stuck on my face. My shirt is soaking wet. Open up my eyes, take a look around and find myself doing what I like. Listen to the songs in my head and I realize they all agree
with me tonight.

Get the fuck out of my way, I’m not in a hurry but I just don’t want to wait. What are you waiting for? On the escalator taking breaks while I get fucking bored. With people standing still, burned out and depressed. Take shit in your own hands and chase the things you lack. See what’s in your reach and make it work for you. Scared to break your bones.
Scared to fall or fail and so you just stay down, alone. Today I just can’t stand watching how your life goes by unlived. You’re growing old and stiff. Don’t care, don’t try, just wait and die. You’re growing old, just like you’re told. By people standing still, burned out and depressed. Nagging about others, ignoring what they have. Get a grip on life, and make it work for you.

Circles
We don’t see what motivates them, what’s behind the scenes. Looking for an explanation: it’s never what it seems. Their words form circles, the ones you can’t get out. Once you’re stuck you lose focus on what it’s all about. Speak out against those you don’t believe. Speak up to those willing to receive. The strings they pull all become loose threads. Let’s reveal what we know, before we forget. Shallow answers to our questions, brought with many words. They won’t replace the actions, they won’t lead the herd. So we’re stuck in circles, we’ll never get out. Not unless we see what it’s all about. We won’t forget.
