Diplomatic measures looking for a soft spot in the wall, ready to crawl back avoiding the fall. Keeping scores on shaken hands, pipelines and bombs, while we sit still and wait, counting broken bonds. What to do when your depending on, the ones that you try to stop. We’re addicted you know it’s wrong. Maybe it’s time to give it up. Watch another deal go down while we sit back and wonder why. We claim to take action but we don’t even try. With our backs against the wall, but then again what’s new? It’s clear to see that we’re getting used to this. Like the union to the Russian gas, we are hooked to the ones above. Pulling strings firmly attached. Make sure we get just enough. A little more than just enough. They are the Russians, they are the dictators. We’re not ­the victims, we are the spectators.
